I don’t know if I could ever live in a small town. I need the constant variety that the city provides. But more often than not I don’t take advantage of it! We love our half-square-mile radius and almost everything we need is included (yes, even a Target).
My sister-in-law is great about knowing what restaurants opened and she tells us about them often. And on date night we will explore them. On a day-to-day basis we stick to our neighborhood of Roscoe Village.
Most people might not venture this far north or this far west when they’re visiting Chicago. It’s too bad that they miss out on our super fun community but I’m also OK with it! I love getting to know our local business owners and when you support local businesses you’re boosting your neighborhood and I’ve always believed that a rising tide lifts all boats.
